You might have a point there KB  :(   My beloved Old Faithfuls which I wore until they were literally falling apart.... soooper comfy, uber waterproof with many miles of every type of terrain imaginable under their poor, worn out soles.  My new ones, yeh, comfy, waterproof but .... lacking a "something" in the quality of them.


To the OP - I agree with everyone's comments - take 'em back for exchange or refund.  They shouldn't fail that quickly unless they're faulty.

If you are taking them back your contract is with the shop NOT Meindl. It is up to the shop to rectify the problem as they sold then to you, if they then want to take it up with the manufacturer that is up to them.


Repeat after me 'No. I bought them from you, it is up to you to sort it out'

Exactly, shop to sort out. Wonder though where the OP got them from, if on line it can be more difficult to sort out, but depends on the retailer.
