.... I do find it comfortable though]

That is what counts, ultimately.

Surface that you pitch on makes quite a difference too, springy wiry grass on the hillside much more insulating than short campsite grass. Not that you can always choose, of course.

 - or better still, short crowberry. Comfortable too - despite using a battered sawn off closed cell Karrimat!

I actually have a Karrimat which I was considering taking with me too for that bit of extra insulation and protection for the sleep mat.

If you are prepared to take the Karrimat too, then you definitely don't need extra insulation in your inflatable mat.

I need to have a play around with it first. See if I can fit it around the inside of the backpack and still get my kit in.
I would rather not have it strapped to the outside.

I couldn't find any in stock in the UK. So I ordered from the US on Amazon.
I have just had a mail back saying my order is cancelled. Out of stock.
Does anyone have a link to a store with them in stock?
Thank you.

Price gone up a lot since I ordered.

Thanks for all your help Steamy Tea.
That was a link to a US seller too. Hopefully this one doesn't get cancelled.
