Anyone had experience of this I've passed the first application requirements and I'm waiting for a telephone interview.
-
No, but well done - that would be a very worthwhile career move. I take my hat off to you O0

I can't help I'm afraid but it does sound like it would be an interesting experience. You don't have to do it twice if you don't enjoy it. I'd love to read of your experience if you do go for it.

Good luck with the application.

I'm sure that alewife has done this. She is not on the forum regularly any more but if you have any questions you could PM her.

Thank you the minimum requirement is just one week a year they pay £75 traveling expenses so I'll tie it in with a few days holiday in the same area one of my favourite hostels Copper mines is included next year an I fancy Dalby Forest too. You can take your partner or a friend too.

I've worked at the yha before. Each location will have its own quirks but I had much more fun working at st brevials than Cardiff central

An update I passed the interview and I'm waiting for the dates of the training sessions.

Congratulation. If you let us know when you get your first posting we could organise a forum meet :)

Hopefully I can see Coniston Coppermines being an annual visit
