It is  :(   A lot more people would REALLY enrich their lives if they just made the effort to get outdoors with their dogs....happy dogs and happy owners  O0
I used to be out in all weathers with my whippet Tina until she passed away in August 2008.  Since then walks have had 'something' missing  :-\   Got a Jack Russell pup on order for later in this year so come 2015 it'll be me posting loads of pics of Gill and her Best Mate  8)
In the meantime.....keep posting everyone.....I'm LOVING this thread  O0

She looks like she could go all day  O0
I did have it down to four breeds - Border Collie, Whippet, Jack Russell or Chihuahua.
I'd love a collie for the sheer beauty, trainability and companionship out in the hills but worried that I wouldn't be fit enough, mentally & physically, to do her justice  :-\   The Chihuahua?  Lovely little dogs given the chance and the stubborn side of me wanted one not just as a companion but also to prove that those little fellas DO have legs  :)   Whippets....just fabulous dogs  O0   And the terrier?  I've had them in the past so know what to expect....small portable size so she can come on caravan holidays with us (another plus for the chi), tough as old boots, walk all day, intelligent and one of my favourite breeds  :)

A few of Bella our JRT when she was a pup

Now she's 3 years old

How about wet with woofs?

And her favourite thing to do, chase a ball around.

Yep we get no end over here (Athens) used to take pics of each one to try and identify it in the future, but it's not uncommon to see 20+ on a 10 mile walk.
