... Ennerdale to Ambleside, via:
Iron Crag, Haycock, Pillar, Kirk Fell, Great Gable, Great End, Esk Pike, Rossett Pike, Pike of Stickle, High Raise (just been looking at this area with Viewranger), Blea Rigg, Silver How, Loughrigg Fell, then straight off the hill into Ambleside (still waiting for that pub recommendation, Lee ).
Sorry I was out walking yesterday (Grasmere - Grisedale Tarn, Dollywaggon Pike, Nethermost Pike, Helvellyn, Striding Edge, Catstycam, Swirral Edge, Helvellyn, White Side (for a spot of lunch), Helvellyn, Grisedale Tarn (via base of Seat Sandal), Fairfield, Great Rigg, Stone Arthur - Grasmere). Left my car at 0745, returned to car 16:00... and I'm 51!!! But I don't carry camping gear, I have to take my hat off to those that do on the LD fells.
Reasonable pub is the Royal Oak on Lake Road. Like everywhere in Ambleside it's usually busy and over priced but for a quick pint it'll do
Cheers
Lee
