The taped seams on my oldish Goretex jacket are coming away from the fabric. How do I repair them? I've seem some seam repair glue for tents - will that do the job? What about rubber solution for repairing cycle punctures?

I have used the seam repair stuff on trousers and it seems to work ok. I think also the cycle repair stuff is very similar and also works but this depens on how much you use it .
