We walked from Lulworth Cove to Tyneham and then inland to Corfe Caste last week.  Got to be one of the steepest areas for ups and downs on the entire SWCP.

Oh god that brings back memories (embarrassingly recent) of doing that walk after a very good night in Lulworth YH, trying desperately not show how hungover I was :crazy2:
So many paths yet to walk, so little time left

Nice pic Rob - always think that Lonscale and Blease Fell make a great frame.

That is steep. I can remember walking around here a few times in the past and doing some SCUBA diving in the area. That is a good picture of a dramatic part of the coast.

I love that cliff photo and the path looks amazing!

If I might contribute a photo taken last week in Scotland...

This was taken at the summit of Sgurr an Fhidhleir (the Fiddler) in the Coigach region just north of Ullapool. Despite its modest height of just over 700m, the views from the top were truly spectacular. Just a few feet in front of my wife there's a mind-boggling sheer drop of about 500m, but the ascent from the other direction is easy. Having said that, getting to the start involves a 20 mile drive along single-track roads!

You might want to review that post Woody.

Forget it. Your edit beat me to it.  I liked the snails on the original post

Thanks Hillhiker. I think I missed the best of the tree leaf colours. I think this year has seen some lovely Autumn colour...maybe some of the best. Although each year I count how lucky we are in this country with the seasons...
