4th November 2007
Yorkshire Dales -- Southern Area
We left the car at Malham Tarn and after a walk to view the tarn we made our way to Street Gate and Mastiles Lane. We followed the lane for just over a mile before dropping down to Smearbottoms Lane and then to Gordale Scar. From there we walked down past Janet's Foss to pick up the Pennine Way into Malham. After a brief stop we made our way to Malham Cove which we ascended to follow the Pennine Way back to the car.
Dist: 9.25 miles Ascent: 1545 feet Time: 4h 45m

Hi Kidsty,
I've just decided you're obssessed with Ingleborough! Out of all the places you've been, I think this is the place you've captured most on camera ..
Some fine, dramatic pictures in this set, thanks for sharing!
