There's a Macmillan cancer fundraising walk this July. Marathon length around Ullswater.
I've signed up to do this - if anyone else here is doing this then perhaps we could co-ordinate transport. I've got a parking place reserved at Dalemain House, which is the start. At a squeeze I could take 4 others to the start. The end is at Lowther Castle, there are shuttle buses back to the start but it would be ideal to have a car at each end.
It's £25 to register - for which you receive a technical t-shirt - and you have to raise £250 in sponsorship. I should be able to get that from friends and family, any shortfall I'll make up myself.
