That looks like a Spanish bluebell (or perhaps a hybrid) - a common and intrusive invader.
There were some Spanish Bluebells further up the lane but this plant was well separated and on its own,  It could possibly be a degraded Dutch Hyacinth (Hyacintus orientalis) which can look quite similar I believe and can go pink.  Either way, it was a pretty little thing.

Another walk from my doorstep yesterday. The wood was carpeted with bluebells, wood anemones and celandines. I love wood anemones as much as bluebells :-* .

Bluebells and wood anemones, a match made in heaven.

We have some out in the garden but though they arrived on their own I don't know if they are natives or not.

Today's walk was pretty much the reverse of one from last week and the few bluebells I found then had opened a bit more

When I first saw all these flowers through the trees I thought for a second that they were bluebells but they are the flowers April can not remember the name of.

A short walk yesterday with Ridgedaughter and a whole new area of woodland has come in to bloom.
It is not that long ago that I was searching for a single flower to photograph for Rural Roamer and now they are suddenly everywhere.

Lovely shots Mel, SteamyTea, Ridge, MountainGal (and all the others on previous pages). A British bluebell wood is one of nature's wonders.

Here's some bluebells in Eggerslack Woods near Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria

Their scent filled the air - heavenly

Thought as I started the thread I ought to post this pic. I think this is the most bluebells we are likely to see on our local walks from the door
