Thank you everyone for the kind comments
Penygadair, Rather be walking, sunnydale - many thanks
Reminded me that my parents took me on holiday to Pagham when I was about 3. We stayed in a converted railway carriage.
Converted railway carriages do seem to be a feature of some coastal spots. Must have been fun staying in one.
I remember the path east from Hastings to Fairlight was a bit steeper than I expected with the drop into the ravine.
I think the ascents from Hastings to Fairlight seem steeper than the Seven Sisters!
(certainly better than the one you took of the full stop in your other topic )
Glad you think so Mel!
I love the one of the cliffs at Hastings especially
There are some good walks from Hastings
Love the seven sisters one
My favourite walk
