yorkshire 3 peaks (macmillan event)14th june

 Hello Folks .
anyone doing the event mentioned next Saturday?   anyone stopped @ the Holme farm camp site, Never stayed there , any comments ? its  only the fri and  sat night im stopping, and not bothered about mod cons, just somewhere to sleep, any comments on the pubs in Horton,,  Thanks

If you're not bothered about mod cons, the camp site will do. If however you want somewhere with more than one shower (that you have to queue for then pay) and perhaps somewhere that you can go to the toilet and the floor is dry, I would go elsewhere. Personally I would go to the public toilets along the road (not to camp  :D)

I think you have a transport problem? So the other camp sites around the area may not be convenient for you.
The Crown at the far end of the village is the better pub. Again you only have two choices.
I suspect that all of these will be a tad 'busy'.There are likely to be hundreds if not thousands of people doing this.
I recommend ear plugs if you are hoping to sleep.  :-\
