I can see me booking a few days at my Uncle's house and getting out and walking these routes that are on my "to do" list as you seem to be beating me to it and whetting my appetite  ;D

My Shropshire "to do" list is getting longer by the day - as soon as we got back I started plotting other walks in the Shropshire Hills. Can't believe it's taken me so long to "discover" them.

Been round there a few times and camped out at Church Stretton. Really nice area but can get very busy on good warm sunny days, like most places really. Good stuff  O0

Thanks, Redeye. Yes, Carding Mill Valley was really busy but the number of people around thinned out a lot almost as soon as we left the lower levels. It was the same going back down Ashes Hollow, we passed no-one until we got to the lower levels and then there were quite a few other people rambling, though not as many as at Carding Mill.
