The Northumberland coastal path from either side (Berwick or Creswell) a great few days walk. Looping down across the Causeway from Beal to Holy Island is in itself a beauty of a walk.

Beadnell Bay CCC campsite, Beadnel: 01665 720586

Springhill Farm campsite, Seahouses: 01665 721820

One walk you mustn't miss - from the mainland at Beal across the sands to Holy Island, following the line of poles. But be sure you find out the tide times and the safe crossing period.

If you have a car you could drive to Wooler and up the Harthope valley to Langlee then walk up The Cheviot, the highest point in Northumberland.

You could do a complete navigation of the island. To avoid charges look out for a small car park on the left as you enter the island (near the tower). You can walk up to 9 miles if you take it all in.On the deserted Eastern beaches you will likely see seals before looking at the castle priory and village. The views ot Bamburgh castle and the Cheviot are world class. If not staying on the island make sure the tides allow you to leave.
Agree about Harthope Valley.Lovely but then all of Northumberland is.
