Title: Tarn Hows photos
Post by: henryb on 18:51:12, 14/11/17
I had previously visited Tarn hows three times on cloudy days. Last week-end my luck changed and it was sunny for a change O0  After descending Holme fell, I thought I would pay Tarn Hows a visit before ascending Black fell. Here are some photos:

Lovely shots henry  O0 It is a wonderful walk around there with the views to the higher fells as well as the lovely trees and tarn.

You probably know this already but Tarn Hows is actually man made. This could be the next place for a zip wire application, if putting zip wires over man made stretches of water is deemed acceptable by the LDNP. I'm referring to the Thirlmere Zip Wire proposal if you are unaware of it.
