JOIN US FOR A TWILIGHT WALK AT STOURHEAD IN WILTSHIRE ON SATURDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER 2011
Enjoy the last of the Great British summer evenings with live entertainment, whilst raising money for your local Marie Curie Nurses.
Our 10 km walk takes you through 2650 acres of world famous 18th century landscape gardens at the National Trusts Stourhead Estate… through ancient woodland, fairytale temples, the secret grotto and around King Alfreds Tower. This is a unique opportunity to see this wonderful location after hours onces the crowds have gone home. Throughout the evening there will be all manner of entertainment, from singers to musicians to performers to keep you going as the sun sets and the stars light up the night!
Don’t forget to bring along your twilight picnic and blanket and settle down by the great lake after your walk as we join together at 10pm with a fireworks display to mark the beginning of the next Marie Curie Nursing shift.
Walk as a family, with a group of friends or get your work place involved and make this a night to remember!!
Registration opens at 6pm. The event concludes shortly after 10pm.
Registration is £10 (which includes your Walk Ten T-Shirt)
Children under 16 years go FREE and dogs are welcome so don't forget to bring your four legged friends! All we ask is that you aim to raise as much as you can in sponsorship.
