Cam Houses - The Dales Way
« on: 12:47:35, 18/01/09 »
Hi.

I'm planning on walking the Dales Way in May and have heard you can stay at a place called Cam Houses between Oughtershaw and Ribblehead. However, I can't find any info on it - how to book, how much it costs etc?

Has anyone heard of this place? Is it still open?

Thanks!

They were doing a bunkhouse too I seem to remember but not sure if that's current.

I tried to book for May but they told me they were no longer doing B&B. So I had to re-jig my stops. I've booked all my B&B's now, so all I need is the weather!

I did the Dales Way last year and we stayed at the bunkhouse at the Station Inn at Ribblehead. It's a mile or so off the route, but has the advantage of having a pub next door and is only a shortish distance beyond Cam Houses.
