Just completed the Sliver route in the Monmouthshire Black Mountains and I am in alot of pain!
I was far to slow though, it took me 9 and a half hrs to do just two peaks. Anyone have any advice of how to quicken the pace as I have been told that to keep walking whatever the speed is best and another to walk quickly stop catch your breath then off you go again.
I walk for two reasons one the peace and the other is to get myself back to a greater level fitness. (oh there is a third I have no desire to run :->)
