Good luck and have a great time.  :)  I'm sure B and Bs won't be a problem after the Bank Holiday weekend.

Evening all.
At saunton. 3 days done. 12 to go.
The walk to woolacombe is tough with the constant ups and downs
The.bad.weather yesterday was interesting walking on vertiginous cliff edges.
Feet.sore but a.couple.of flat days ahead
Going to be warm tomorrow
 The scenery is remarkable

Enjoy the flat but I'll bet you'll be glad to get back to the rugged cliffs after trogging round the Burrows. You're certainly clocking up the miles.
So many paths yet to walk, so little time left

Hi johhnyp, sounds like you're having fun, wish I could join you, but not this year.
Enjoy the section from Hartland Point to Polzeath. Its very wild and remote, one of my favourite sections  :) O0

We were in Boscastle YHA the night storm Imogen hit - at high tide the waves were surging up past the house level with the ground floor windows.
Glad you're going well and enjoying yourself.

Enjoying reading this JP. Keep the reports coming. If you have the same weather as here the past week you are blessed. I am trying to squeeze the 30 days in August/September to complete this. Did you try the Trailblazer Guide Books? Wondering if they are worth it for SWCP.

Port isaac tonight
Yet more.climbing. Couldnt get much further as i have been a bit nauseous. Slow.going so i push on and maybe dont drink and eat enough
Treyarnon bay tomorrow so may have to cut a few headlands.
Just about on schedule..
Should stand and stare a bit more.
It is very hard to get lost on this track so i find the national trails.guide more than enough. Used the compass precisely one in bad weather after heddons mouth.
Tough going but with tourists every few miles
The scenery is stunning

Whoa - slow down a bit and take time to smell the ........seaweed? It's too lovely to rush through but I hope you are feeling better tomorrow.

Average calories required per hour carrying 10- 20lbs is about 420 to 700 calories per hour (hills etc) .
More carbs - pasty's & chips  ;)  ;D  - No seriously you need more carbs minimal 3500 - 4000 a day.

Look after yourself John.
