What map do I need. Complete beginner
« on: 11:00:45, 25/09/18 »
Hi guys, I am wanting to walk the 'Cromford Mill and Village Walking Route'. I am planning on doing the 8mile long walk and just want some help on what would be a good map to get, it's gone a little over my head and I am planning on doing more of the peak district so don't know if anybody can point me to a map that I could use for more routes too?

I assume I will be needing a map anyway one to plan my route as I guess they won't be sign posted and also for he likely chance I will take a wrong turn or two!

Any help would be brilliant thank you!

The map you'll need which covers the Cromford Mill/Wharf area is the 1:25000 Explorer OL24 - White Peak

I usually buy my paper from Dash4It, as they are often the cheapest.   Don't forget that you'll also get a digital download key for the map to put on your phone.
