Nice! No beavers though!

Here is one I snapped earlier (June 2017)
I attended a lecture evening recently and apparently there are now 7 beaver families holding 13 territories on the rivers Otter and Tale reaching right up into the Blackdown hills so they'll sure to be getting down into the Culm/Clyst/Tone rivers soon.

Superb! I live in hopes of seeing one one day.

Lovely photos Jac :) I especially like the first one

Lovely photos, especially the close ups and the beaver.
-
Love the bug "centrepiece" and the underneath looking up at the cow parsley O0

Thanks everyone.
Closeups don't seem to be as simple with this camera, Sony, as with my previous Panasonic Lumix. Both are just compacts but the Lumix had a macro zoom setting. However, the Sony, has a tilting screen which I love; swings and roundabouts.
This bimble was also my first using viewfinder (I know, I'm well behind the learning curve) but am proud to report that I achieved a magnificent 1.8mph despite photography, lunch and church stops ;D

That's some close up! Do you just put the camera very close, or.....?

If you mean the beaver - zoomed in. He/she was about 30 foot away, broad sunlight @ 7pm. With short nights in June they are up before dark.
