TR - Scafell Pike via Piers Gill
« on: 21:59:48, 22/07/19 »

A repeat of a walk I did a year or so ago but that time we were in thick fog most of the day. Nice to actually see Piers Gill this time - impressive thing that it is!

Lovely write up Dave - top of Scafell Pike looks incredibly quiet by normal standards!  That's a route I've promised myself to do next time I'm in Wasdale - hopefully September.

Thanks! It was quiet, I think mainly as it was a week day - rare for me but made the most of a few days off work

Some lovely photos there Dave - especially of the cloud formation above Great Gable.

And I too like the look of that plunge pool!
