Off to Wasdale tomorrow for two nights, three days walking.  Staying at the Wasdale Head so there may be some beer involved too!  Very excited.

Cheers Lee - the fingers are very crossed, though the current forecast is for the western fells to get the better weather so I'm hopeful, otherwise I'll be adding to the list of Claggwrights!

Cheers April - I love Wasdale, it's been my favourite since childhood, though I've not walked quite a few of the lesser known fells yet.  I'm hoping to put that right this weekend.  Enjoy the Far East - China or Kentmere ;D ?

Lee - hopefully we'll take in the cairn - we are looking at ascending Buckbarrow en route to Seatallan, Haycock and Caw Fell, then working round to Red Pike and Yewbarrow if we've got the legs for it.  Looks like the Saturday walk at the moment.

Weather looks a bit drab!  Why oh why can't it be the same as today?? ::)

I walked on the South Downs today from Falmer to Lewes via Blackcap in the glorious spring sunshine   :)   And there wasn't much mud!

Almost a year ago I was walking the South Downs Way with no mud  :D

This time next week I'll be doing the North Downs Way, what's the mud situation on that?  :)
LDWs done - 32 in total including 16 National Trails and 3 C2C

No idea about mud on the North Downs Way!  But a walk I did on the South Downs on Wednesday was incredibly muddy    :D

Yet another out of the door local walk for me earlier today  ::)

... followed by a walk up and down the garden behind the lawnmower  :-\

To be fair, I've not done the walk for a while because the weather has been kak and it was lovely to see all the hedgerows coming into bloom and the buds on the trees  :)
