Higger Tor and Carl Wark
« on: 20:53:34, 17/11/19 »
I did this one just over a year ago with my then 4 year old son. I thought it would contain plenty of interest to keep him busy and I wasn't wrong! (kids and rocks is always a winning combo)

I'm hoping to move him on to bigger things next year now his legs have grown a bit.

Thank you for bringing back happy memories of wonderful holidays and walks in the area. Perhaps one day I will be able to do such walks again.
These boots are made for walking.... so long as the rest of my body agrees

I remember someone in the past telling me that the key to getting children interested in walking was to take them over interesting/rocky ground. As I recall that child is now pursuing a career in the great outdoors. In due course, if he's keen, you'll find yourself struggling to keep up with your son. I reached that stage some years ago when my son was in his 30s and me in my 60s. Have a great time together.

Lovely Dad and lad walk  O0

I'm in my 50s and my son is early 20s, I think I am about at the tipping point where he will be waiting for me in a few years time.
