Walks from perranporth with a blind person
« on: 10:47:41, 03/08/13 »
Im going back to perranporth soon i need some advice for ideal walks for a blind person with a dog. i did perranporth to st Agnes, PP to Newquay and PP to the cyder farm now these are all easy walks for people but im just not sure if walking with a blind person and dog these are good walks. like on the road if a car is coming at me i will hopefully jump out of the way or some of the 'tricky' bits on the walk to Newquay or st Agnes. so anyone know of suitable walks that are ok for a novice walker?

im afraid i dont know the area but why dont you ask the person involved what they are happy with? eg traffic, distance, types of terrain.
give warning about any obstacles or changes in gradient and keep communicating.
why not try a fairly short walk to begin with and then you can increase it next time.
