Norber & Moughton Scars - a very poor day for weather but a fascinating place all the same, especially those boulders looming out of the mists!

I'm on the internet!

Enjoyed that.  O0

Sounds like a fine route - I've been to both the Norber erratics and Moughton Scars but not on the same walk. It can feel like quite an alien, otherworldly landscape around Moughton, I think, and the mist in your TR photos really brought that out.

Nice TR Dave.

I always find that the Sulber gate 'entrance' to Moughton Scar is a bit of an Alice in Wonderland moment.  You walk along the Long Scar path with the high wall to the east of you, then you get to the gate and there is a whole different world in front of you.

For what it's worth, I did a similar walk on the Friday 22 Dec 2017 and the weather was just the same :(  I went back in between Christmas and New Year with nice weather and the views were stunning... well worth a second go  O0

Excellent photos as usual, Dave.

Looks worth another visit in brighter conditions perhaps?
