Hi guys,

what a great do 3 days of Munro bagging in the North Lomand and Trossach area. and this is the first TR.

Ben Vorlich  ( mountain of the bay ) 985m  &  stuc a Chorin  ( peak of the sheepfold )975m.

the route to take these two munros that we climbed starts on the shores of Loch earn at Ardvorlich and you follow the path through the east gate of Ardvorlich house. following the signs and wide track  cross the burn and it starts to climb up  Glen Vorlich. stay left on the track with Ben our on your right staying off the coire budihe ( estate rules ). the track is wide easy to follow you should never get lost. the climb brings you out at the trig point summit..

the continuation to stuc a chorin starts off west and down to the left to the wide col below the mountain. you can go right towards the col saddle above you which is easier and would be your descent route. straight up for a scramble or left for an easier but better views and scramble which we took.  there are 2 summits so make sure you have the middle cairn as your summit,. you descend left towards the saddle and down to coire budihe to traverse under Ben Vorlich or left for another hill Ben our. You pick up your path you first climbed to get back to the car.

2 great munros great views
