Not a post about zip wires but about walking trousers.
I like summer walking trousers which I can convert to shorts but, while these used to be readily available they appear to have fallen out of favour. So now we have walking trousers with stretch and that are water proof while those with zip off legs are clearly for the travel market rather than walking.
The only ones that I have found are Dare2b Tuned in Z/O trouser and they are clearly going out of production as no one has a good range of sizes.
Any thoughts on these trousers or any other alternatives much appreciated.

Craghoppers still make them, don't they? *goes of to google* - yes, quite a range by the looks of it:

I had a pair of these (the kiwis I think) but wasn't a fan of the material so perhaps these aren't quite what you're after.

I bought some Ayacucho zip offs last summer, but haven't yet made friends with them, I can always feel the zip.
I checked on Cotswold to make sure they weren't a women only thing, and there are lots of mens ones, including a fetching pink pair going half price in the sale!

Thanks for the suggestions.
I'm not sure about the pink ones, I tend towards dark colours for my walking gear but perhaps it is time for a change!

Montane do a zip off terra pants(seen at go outdoors) and North Face do zip off pants(paramount).

If you want cheap and cheerful, Craghoppers and Mountain Warehouse sell convertibles and these are what I buy O0

Thanks for more suggestions, I'll have a look.
My current ones are ancient Craghoppers but I'd like the new ones to have a bit of stretch and at the end of last year they wetted out walking through damp bracken when other peoples trousers were still dry, though that could be age.

Time to have a word with your doctor I think :)

Now you know why I said higher up that I prefer dark coloured trousers.

Echo the above, have a pair of each as zip-offs. Around £20 a pop I think. They do fine and are quick to dry.
With a different branded pair I found I wasn't using the legs much so after a few times of washing the shorts alone the legs were darker than the shorts part so it looked stupid when zipped together! :-[ In hindsight I should have washed them together. Might have to wash the legs separately loads of times to get them to match!
