Many thanks
My thought process was to have a longish walk Whernside with a backup shorter walk Buckden depending on the weather and I specifically wanted to put in the waterfalls at Buckden and didn't want to overstretch the day, although I would have included middle tongue but unsure of the terrain at this time of year .
Great Whernside is planned in a for a full summer walk to try and do a circular route starting at Grassington or similar
I have already done Whernside, Ingleborough
https://my.viewranger.com/route/details/MjA1MDM5MA== [nofollow]and I try to stay clear again as there is so much variety to look at and that steep down and up just doesn't do anything for me
Going to depend on forecast which isn't great for visibility which is leaning me to Whernside which is slightly lower and don't want bad visibility going up Buckden waterfalls
But it all might be mute as sat at home with backache at moment which feels like a pull of something - missus not going to be happy if I'm sat at home tomorrow like a bear with a sore head
