I've decided to split the photos over two walk reports this week-end as visibility was decent in the Mournes on Saturday allowing me to take a lot of photos. I drove to Leitrim Lodge in the western Mournes to take in the higher peaks in the region. The route was circular and would take in Slievemoughanmore, Eagle, Shanlieve, Pierces Castle and Tornamrock. Total distance was just under 10km. It was very windy and some of the higher peaks had snow which is unusual for this time of year.
