Appleby to Brampton 10K Circular
« on: 12:24:37, 20/09/20 »
I said the other day that I didn't have any walks worth talking about and Appleby is a beautiful place to walk and it never occurred to me how incongruent those two statements were. These are some choice photos from a 10K route I usually run but today I walked it with my fiancé and took some photos. Would post the route but it's pretty self-explanatory, you walk from Appleby to nearby Brampton in a circle! There are more photos available here but I took 34 of them so didn't want to fill the post.

Thank you for sharing that Rob - the mist on the fells is beautiful.

PS - when I saw Brampton I assumed the Brampton in the north of Cumbria, where my grandmothers both lived for a while, and thought "that's more than 10k!"

Very pretty Rob.  Are you running on the road then?

Yeah I don't have a car now so unless I contented myself with jogging in circles round the local fields if I want to go for runs and jogs it's the road. I like the way it feels better too but that's probably just because I'm used to it.
