I didn't mean to do the 1000 mile challenge this year as I wanted to do a bit more cycling. My OH suggested I should try to do 1000 miles of each, and I thought that was ridiculous.
However, I did keep a running note of mileages (I only count walks of over half a mile), and round about mid November I realised that it was actually possible, if I was prepared to go out in rather worse weather than I would like....
I have just got there. 1000 miles of each.
What I want to know is, why aren't I slim as a gazelle and so fit I don't puff and pant going up hills!
