I was up in Snowdonia National Park with friends for a rock climbing trip and came up with the idea of climbing Snowdon at night to catch the sunrise. It worked out as a complete success with a temperature inversion over Llanberis and some dramatic scenes over the horseshoe. Video is a must see for this one!

It turned into a beautiful sunny morning on the descent. Time for some breakfast and maybe a little sleep!

Fantastic and something I aim to do before this year is out. Great video and photos O0

Fantastic video. You really hit lucky with the cloud inversion.

Nice shots of the clouds lapping over the shoulders of Moel Siabod and Moel Eilio.

Fantastic shots - some of the colours on the video are wonderful with the early sun lighting up the rock. And an inversion too - what a great day to chose!
