Hi introducing myself to fellow walkers and wild campers,i have decided to explore my own country having been various other countries and always enjoyed the freedom of camping best places i rate have been daintree oz/morocco/ greek islands/kruger rsa not in any order tho.whilst in lockdown i came across wild camping on u tube and thought this was a bit of me.so got the gear but no idea .therefore best place to get educated would be from others who share the interest.liveing in Devon then i shall hone? my skills on beautiful dartmoor then branch out scotland wales ireland

Welcome to the forum from just over the Tamar Bridge. Few Better places in England for Walking and Wild Camping than Dartmoor.

Welcome from the Lake District. You are lucky to have Dartmoor on your doorstep, where wild camping is legal in many areas. Here in the Lakes, wild camping is not officially legal but is certainly tolerated on the fells (but not in the valleys).
