Heres a route you could do easily enough attached  O0   5 miles 2500 ft ascent. Not done it meself apart from the bit on Haystacks but I ve written it so you get to go down spine of Fleetwith Pike. Haystacks is great fun for a bit of climbing but never any danger, always got contact with the rocks at all times. Innominate Tarn you have to see before you die......  ;) Guaranteed great views at al ltimes, sun permitting....  8)

I agree with the Scramble, it's great fun and good for beginners  :)  Donna did it last year and loved it  O0  it's only a short scramble but well worth it when you get to the top, the place is magical as shown by AJ, well done mate  O0

Great Report & pics Dave & on one of the best ridges Lakeland has to offer  ;)   The slog up the steep steps from Buttermere brings back some good memories as does the even steeper slog up Red Pike, Can you imagine Inominate Tarn during the 50's when AW was composing his guides, he wouldnt of seen a sole all day & thats why he loved it so much, sadly  Inominate Tarn is a victim of its own popularity but what a beutiful place    O0

Well done mate

Paul.

Smashing Dave, not done that area for a very long time. I see what you mean about Innominate Tarn and thats just looking at the pictures, it must be awsome actually being there. I like where you put your pictures because I can view them at work,  O0 .

I need someone to show me how to load gpx files/routes onto my Satmap, not that good with stuff like that.

Thanks for sharing mate, brilliant. O0

Great photo Dafydd Bach.I did the same walk with AW Glyno,Peakbagger and Robby on a cold sunny day,all the little tarns were frozen, the ice thick enough for us to walk across.

AW Glyno  ;D    Bet that was a corker in the cool air, with the sun out visibility would have been amazing, i think i saw the TR remember you by my favourite road sign. How does it compare to your top Wales walk?
