There is free parking in a layby at Roehead.
Thanks ninthace. I notice you haven't included the National Trust car park in Pooley Bridge in your points of interest though!Maybe I'm mistaken and it's not National Trust?
The free layby parking was full when I arrived at 9 am.
So where did you end up? The 3 quid slots facing the church?
Cheers Rob, that's where I'm planning to park tomorrow. How did the walk go? You had a nice day for it.
What a day, sun, hail, sun, cold wind and sun again.Fortunately the hail only started as we were within striking distance of the cafe we were heading to for lunch.
Thinking of doing an overnight trip to the Ben Lawers group, for those that don't know these hills there on the north side of Loch Tay not far from the village of Killin. Hopefully going over Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers before dropping down to Lochan nan Cat to camp. Coming back via Meall Garbh and An Stuc. Of course if you don't know the area that will mean nothing to you. This will be my first outing since hurting my leg a month ago, so fingers crossed it is healing ok.
