Had  a punt on the Oboz. Cannot help but feel I won't see them but with PayPal guarantee at least I will get my money back if they don't show up. Nothing ventured........

I have had a punt as well, but I do feel has all the hallmarks of someone account been hacked. I am only chancing it because of the ebay guarantee!

Also ordered some, so thanks Kinky for highlighting this.  It's worth pointing out that most of the sellers feedback is as a buyer though, not as a seller. We shall see....

Katadyn Combi filter.... most places I’ve seen it’s in excess of £130.... sports direct have it on their website for £95. You just have to look for it because it it’s not listed as a katadyn brand. It say brand unknown but when you check the photos it’s clearly Katadyn.

Found these on eBay. Obviously I can't vouch for the seller but they do have 100% positive feedback and the item is covered by the Ebay Money Back Guarantee and 30 day returns/refund is offered at buyer's expense if required.

Oboz Men's Sawtooth Mid B-DRY Waterproof Walking Boots in Olive Sizes UK 6½ to 13½ available at the mega bargain price of only £28.51 with free delivery.
That's less than half the price of anywhere else I can find and these have a normal RRP of £125.

I posted about these boots previously after buying some a few weeks ago http://www.walkingforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=32782.msg519110#msg519110

My ebay perchase was cancelled today due to suspicious account activity so it does sound like it was a fake ebayer account hack..
Gone for a walk, back in a bit..

However that doesn't excuse Kinkyboots from continuing to research and report the footwear bargains as usual. Without those delightful finds we would have to spend even more time on the interweb.
Thanks KB O0

A usual sign of scams is when the price is cheap AND they have every size available. That combination is the give away

Lidl - 'lightweight' inflatable camping mat for £17.99. 6cm thick, weighs 506g, and comes with a 3 year guarantee.

Might be a bargain; might be rubbish, but I've taken a punt and bought one for my wife.
I'll report back and let you know what we think of it.

Slept on it last night, and I think that it is pretty decent; comfortable whether I was on my back or on my side. Packs really small, too. Tempted to go back and buy some more for family camping.

Only time will tell whether it is durable though, but I'll keep the receipt.

does it self-inflate or do you need big lungs or a pump?

Lungs; not too much effort to blow it up though.

To be honest, I don't understand why anyone would spend good money on a lightweight thermarest neoair, for example, and then buy (and carry) a pump, just because they can't be bothered to blow it up themselves!

As a Neoair owner (a great product) I just use their basic Thermarest bag to inflate it. The bag fits over the valve and I just scrunch the bag end and roll the air into the mattress. Very low tech but totally effective. I usually scrunch and roll up to four times, perfect! When not used for this purpose I use it to store clothing and in the evening I roll it up to become my base pillow. I then place my Sea to Summit blow up pillow on top, it all helpsme  to avoid a stiff neck by the morning.

Not everyone who camps is carrying their home from home in a rucksack and an inflatable mattress might not be the only thing they want to blow up (these new fandangled inflatable tents, inflatable chairs, egos....  :D  )
