Day 2,parked up @Garry Bridge,free parking,did the "Bealach" walk,11miles.
Day 3,drove to Rannoch Station, train to Corrour(highest in UK ?,£3.70p one way)walked back on the road to the isles,11.5miles

You had some luck with the weather too.
Only a hill but all of life to me, up there between the sunset and the sea.

I remember staying at Kilvrecht way back in 1989 or 90, a nice site, and a lovely area - big country.

I particularly like the shot of Loch Rannoch through the trees.

"Prices

£10.00 per pitch, per night for visitors with a vehicle.
£5.00 per pitch, per night for visitors with no vehicle.
Just turn up, choose a pitch and the warden will collect your money from you."

..and the campsite charges are very reasonable - unlike the 'Camping in the Forest' site at Glenmore!

Great pictures strawy. Looks an interesting and varied 4 days you had. I have vague memories of Pitlochry dam from when I was a young nipper.

Lovely, thank you. I fear I may verge on being a gricer. My recent big birthday my treat was to 'drive' the steam train on a busy scheduled run from Paignton to Kingswear.
