Nice photos, Pleb - it's a great spot to walk, especially with weather like that.  O0

Looks a beautiful walk pleb    :)    I know the feeling when high tides prevent coastal walking!

Plenty of interest on that stretch but I can't remember much of it. A couple of photos there brought back a vague memory of threading our way along the edge of the very wet salt marsh.

Very nice & some splendid photos  O0

I do like that area although I don't know it well. Back in the late 70s I spent a short while at Humphrey Head (further West) - it was a good place to explore.
A friend of mine brought his geology hammer and spent ages scraping a pebble until it revealed a rather large Trilobyte (spelling not checked  ::) ) He was delighted, but it just looked like a big beetle to me.
Only a hill but all of life to me, up there between the sunset and the sea.

Some good photos there - hope that the goats were friendly!

All too often in the past I have just flogged on past the Arnside area on the M6, but in February I visited a friend who has recently moved there - delightfully complex country for short, varied walks.
