Just before we did our British Heart Foundation walk in November we did a training amble around Curbar Edge.
It's typical moorland really (but with a pub!), so I won't write very much just post the pics.
It was quite easy going really, no steep ascents and slightly drizzling. As a training walk (8 miles ish) it wasn't ideal for the High Peak Trail, mainly as the High Peak Trail has two pretty steep hills at the start and on the day it snowed and rained alot. That said our group finished and raised roughly £1000 for the BHF.
Still a nice walk if a little short.
