Thanks to the clear blue skies and sunshine I had an excellent walk today, probably the most enjoyable this year so far.
I did about 8 miles in the Surrey Hills starting at Wotton on the A25. From there I picked up the Greensand Way towards Coldharbour and up to Leith Hill, the highest point in Surrey, where an already fantastic view was improved by someone considerately chopping back the trees (where this photo was taken).
From there back to Wotton via Friday Street and a visit to one of three pubs on the way for some lubrication
It is a route I would be happy to share sometime in he future.
