How come some don't like Kinder?
Personal preference I suppose, some just find it too bleak, windswept and unfriendly. Plus if it's soggy there's the slipping and sliding on the edge paths, and the bogs to sink into on the plateau.

Hard to believe but its true.
I know a bloke who has walked everywhere in this country and many places round the world but has only gone up Kinder twice. The first time he loathed it and vowed never to go there again and the second time was when he did the Penine Way.
