It’s the Lluest Cwm Bach bothy Rob, it actually was a cottage until 1952 and was a roofless ruin when it was refurbished in 2013.

Interesting. Quite a long way from the nearest town are you camping?

No we’re staying in a cottage a few miles away, swmbo likes her creature comforts when it comes to sleeping. Mind you this particular bothy is really good and will sleep six in comfort, even has an overhead rack for drying out wet gear.
Touching from a distance, further all the time.

A few from my recent trip round Mellbreak and Hen Comb. All of which was actually tougher than I expected. The descent off Mellbreak was pretty hair raising at times, particularly as we came down a pretty horrible steep gulley at lirst. I don't think I'll descend with way again. :o

Nice pics. I like Grasmoor and the absolutely horrible descent off Mellbreak best though it was close with Rannerdale Knotts and Grasmoor.
