I have owned my Marmot Precip for just over three years but it now leaks badly around the hood and neck area. When I look at the inner covering all I can see are patches of the outside material showing through. Is there a spray-on or brush-on type of 'waterproofer' which I can buy, which will make it waterproof again? It's annoying because it still looks as good as new.
I plan to ask Marmot as well.

Sounds like it's too far gone to be repairable, mine thankfully is still in excellent condition. If you're lucky Marmot might replace it as a goodwill gesture

I doubt it, gwm. The neck and hood area are subjected to a lot of flexing and wear.
Sad to see an old trusted bit of kit consigned to the bin, isn't it?
