Howgill Sedbergh and Firbank
« on: 17:16:51, 21/09/07 »
I have been walking in and around the Howgills for a few years now.
I come up to a cottage in Firbank that overlooks the Howgills.
It never looks the same, the light is always different and so peaceful.

This year we walked Winder and i got so great shots looking towards the Southern lakes and mountains.

P.S. Mr Steadman your chops are still the best.

Anyone interested in knowing more of my images or where i stay mail me if you like.

My photography site is

My best image is the frost over the Howgills, just from the cottage door.

Nice pics, you certainly have an eye for it ..

I checked your website .. felt that the sheep kept staring at me, but the picture of the lone tree (from the Yorkshire Dales) was something else, extraordinary .. loved it.

Was expecting more.  Is it quite a new site? I'm very impressed.  ;)

In that pic?

I can see trees, water and sky?  All nicely arranged of course, with just the right hint of melancholy .. but I see no old town.  :(
