With weather forecasters predicting a mostly cloudy day, Saturday's walk saw me undertake a circular coastal walk which I've never done before. Starting from Donard car park in Newcastle I walked through the town before dropping down to Murlough beach. After walking 5 miles along the beach I eventually reached Dundrum. Dundrum is approximately 3 miles away from Newcastle on road. After speaking with an information guide I picked up a good track towards Murlough bay where I stopped for coffee in the cafe. After a short break, I returned to Murlough Bay before returning to the car park in Newcastle. Total distance was nearly 15km.
