Wasn't Hayfield to Edale Cross the way up we went on the "Cuddly Kinder" meet?
It was, I should probably vary the routes I do but it is so easy to stick to places that you know and leave the map in the rucksack.

Nah.  If you enjoy the walk why should you do something different  :)

When I lived In Glossop on the doorstop of the Peaks .
The walk/ hike to Hayfield  and to  Edale  was one of my favourite trips out . ;)
But well before that in the sixtys we frequently went on our big Adventure to Camp on Coopers  farm and Waterside farm near Barber Booth .
Then spend all day Exploreing Kinder having a great time .
Then back to the Campsite and spend a lovely relaxing time In the Ramble Inn and the Nags Head .  ;D O0
