Wild Ireland BBC2 last night
« on: 11:27:15, 19/03/17 »
Did anyone else watch this? Admittedly it dealt mainly with wildlife on the west coast of Ireland but the scenic photography was superb.
Well worth a look. Part 2 to follow.

Watched it on Friday night and thought it was stunningly good.

Colin Stafford-Johnson also did a wonderful programme a couple of years ago about a journey down the Shannon which is equally worth catching up with if you get the opportunity - either called "Ireland's Wild River" or "On A River in Ireland" (I think its title depended on whether you were watching in the UK or the Emerald Isle.

A beautifully filmed, gentle programme. Mercifully without the crashing music often added presumably intended to add drama when the scenery and wildlife are drama enough.
I loved it :)
So many paths yet to walk, so little time left

Just watched it on iplayer via the Firestick.  One of the best UK based wildlife programmes I've seen for a long time.

Makes me want to go exploring over there! 8)

I watched that and also recorded it for future reference.  I had the idea that I might go on holiday exploring parts of Ireland.
Such a beautiful place with so much to offer  O0

I chanced across the last half of the episode last night, I might have to watch the rest on catchup.
Well worth a look, and some stunning photography :)

I really enjoyed both programmes. It makes a pleasant change when the presenter actually presents the subject material rather than trying to become the  subject material themselves.
