Super TR and photos. Envy you - used to have a dog and partner who would wild camp - things change as time passes
should have made the most of it when it was possible. Just day walks now or on site/car camping and no dog.
Better than no walking but............ :(

So many paths yet to walk, so little time left

Thank you Jac  :)

I do take beefy for granted and consider myself very lucky. Squeaky is beefys daughters dog so not mine but I do love her as if she was my own. Carpe Diem. I try to live for the day, you never know what is round the corner. I do solo wild camping sometimes when I am off work, I might be off out in a few weeks on my own. Have you never tried wild camping on you own Jac?

If God had meant us to camp he would have put tents on our backs, a bit like snails!  ;D

At Jac - you need to try it. Carpe Diem.  :)

Our friend Annie goes all over on her own. South America, John Muir Trail with bears for company, Nepal, Alps, she has been everywhere. Her partner is left at home when she is out backpacking, he likes hotels and comfort.

Her adventures makes what I do solo very tame in comparison, just the odd night out in the Lakes.

Great stuff as usual guys O0
Sunsets from those western fells usually are special :)

I find that if I walk without my tent on my back it makes me sluggish (sorry )  :D

An excellent TR, April, and fantastic photos - the one of Great Gable, Haystacks and Scafell Pike is really beautiful. And how wonderful to have such crystal clear visibility like that!  O0 O0

I love the Newlands Valley and I've always had a soft spot for Robinson, with its "scooped out" mountainside.  :)

Oooh, lovely pics and write up of an area I've failed twice to walk in now  ;D

Love the first sunset pic - I have some glass very similar to the sky in that pic .... mmmmm.... I feel some landscape glass art coming on....
