Potential successor to GPS created by BAE
BAE Systems has developed a new positioning system to rival GPS,
marinelink.com
reports.
Whilst GPS is favoured by many to track their running, walking or cycling routes, the technology is still not perfect as signals can be blocked, jammed or even "spoofed" into incorrectly identifying locations.
In response to this, British defence, aerospace and security firm BAE has created a new system that is claims could complement or even replace GPS.
